my allergist is wanting to do RAST tests.....the only hesitation is that OHIP doesn't cover it. Perhaps my drug plan will...will have to see. It could get expensive....the other option he mentioned was this test that covers 120 allergens or so all in one fell swoop. It costs $120.00, and that would be less expensive for me. Although my allergist mentioned it as an option, he said that he would prefer to do the RAST testing because it is more accurate.

It sounds like it isn't worth doing--why bother if it isn't accurate, but I'm curious. Does anyone know what this type of test is called? (then I can research it) Any other info. on this?
