National Nursing Week
May 8-14, 2006

Nurses play a vital role in promoting the health and wellness of Canadians. Members of our profession are advocates for healthy personal choices and improved community well-being. This year’s theme for National Nursing Week, Nursing: Promoting Healthy Choices for Healthy Living, underlines this contribution to public health and primary health care.

--------------------

If you have a school nurse or other who has helped you with allergies, consider showing your appreciation this week! Our school nurse has been a great ally... I will have to honour her next week, as she's only at the school on Wednesdays, and I didn't find out about this until this morning!
