Thanks for posting this! I did not realize that sunflower seeds cross react with ragweed. And in a bid to get some more vitamin E in my diet, I was going to try sunflower seeds at my allergist's. I used to react if I ate too many as a kid, but I only ate them at Halloween and who knows--they could have been contaminated. Hmmm...think I'll wait until the ragweed season is over. Here's hoping for an early frost!
