When a 3 year old in the all day Junior Kindergarten class began to cry and claw at his throat, his teachers sprang into action.

Emmett, who is in junior kindergarten at Dr. S.J. Phillips Public School was known to have a severe peanut allergy. He found a green candy on the floor, picked it up and ate it.

His teachers reacted fast. They administered his Epipen and he was sent to the hospital. http://www.durhamregion.com/community-s ... to-school/
