Very sad.

Poor mom, she'll have to live with this. I hope she gets some counseling.

The teenage years scare me so much more than the toddler years. USE THE EPIPEN USE THE EPIPEN USE THE EPIPEN! It sounds like he had a lot of symptoms for thinking he was having a mild reaction. Tragic, heartbreaking, maybe (?) preventable with an earlier does of epinephrine!!!

I don't think people have any idea how fast things can happen.....

I am so glad that we had a warning....dd knows how fast it can all change....there can be no hesitating with some people....and we know she is one of them....in some ways I feel so lucky :freak that we had a learning chance and that she was old enough to really remember....
Accidents do and probably always will happen.....we must be ready and willing to react to them.

Each time I learn of a teenager in the news due to food allergies I tell my teenager. The really sad part is that the frequency of these talks is increasing.

A reminder to all to use the epipen quickly.

Such a shame.
