Bah! Globe and Mail wine columnist disses the new labels on wine for allergies, sulphites.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/foo ... 666/page2/

His only "research" on wine reactions: the winemakers assn. and the liquor board.
Not that they'd have a bias.

And now the winemakers are in "talks" with the gov't. This is exactly what Anaphylaxis Canada, Allergic Living and the Celiac Association warned about: exempt the beermakers and others will want the same.

10 years of talks and talks, 2 years for implementation. And far too much talk of "industry hardship" and far too little about the medical risks for those with allergies, asthma.

Unbelievable.

Well, they have to label for allergies if they want to sell in Europe...so they want two different labels? Now that is hardship! :verymad
