Chased around the school yard with a peanut butter cracker saying "I'm going to kill you" . What I love is how the young man says administration dealt with the issue and now we are best friends. I don't think kids get the seriousness of their actions and equate them with bullying as it is 'only' food. Love how this was handled and how a friendship came of it.

That is good there is a positive from this story. Unfortunately it probably doesn't get to the kids that need to hear it!

The one distinct time that my daughter was bullied she didn't tell me about it until months later - think she was scared to tell me because she knew I would be mad and it was a 'friend' that did it :verymad . To this day, I can remember the phone conversation I had with the boy's mom since my daughter told me about it during summer vacation. :(

walooet, unfortunatly, I think there are more stories out there like yours than the story in the news piece. :( most bullying, I feel, goes under the radar, so to speak.
