Food as a reward...food as a punishment...whatever happened to food as fuel?
After all the articles about how beloved pb&j is and how that is all that some kids will eat :P Is this really even punishment?
Seems to me that the only thing being taught here is how to be lazy and passive agressive! :banghead

Not only is it wrong to use food as a punishment, but I have never understood this business of punishing all the children for the wrongs of some.....I remember many times both my kids coming home on different occassions and telling me about some teacher making the whole class miss out on something because of one or two misbehaving. One time it was because the teacher didn't want to hear a peep out of them and of course there was one that said "peep". I have often wondered how they expect the other kids to treat that one when they are out for recess and no one is looking. You can't tell me that every kid was doing wrong.

And another thing....maybe the food IS crap.....I've eaten in many camps back when I was pipelining and sometimes.....ugh.
