Paranoid Parents Allergy Kits.

My friend Freddie was never allowed to go to sleep over at his friends' houses. His father said, "If there was a fire, the parents would save their own children first." This would be a good gift for Freddie's father.

Each Allergy Visibility Kit comes with eight highly visible buttons to decorate your child and a zipper pull and a shoe charm. My father told me that if he ever developed a peanut allergy, he would have the image of a peanut tattooed inside his bottom lip. He reasoned that if he ever keeled over at the country club from some beer nuts, the EMTs would notice his peanut tattoo and know to give him an Epi-pen shot.

I think this kit is a better idea and great for scaredy-cat new fathers and grandfathers. $10,

Hmm, If someone create a box of tissues and labelled it, "Boo hoo, my child has leukiemia!" Would people think it's funny? Food allergies are life threatening and incurable-why is it OK to make fun of us?

Your mission statement: A Positive Impact: In the Workplace, In the World

To us, sustainability means more than just being "green." We believe sustainability starts with integrity in everything we do, treating each individual inside and outside our company with dignity and respect, offering health insurance to all our full-time (and most part-time) employees and providing a living wage.

Where is the dignity and respect?
For shame!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I took a look at the item that you are referring
to, and sincerely apologize for the offense; none was intended. This product was
actually intended for parents and children to display in a more visible way some
important information that may be life saving, and certainly do not want to promote
making fun of anyone for having allergies.

I will certainly forward your email to our purchasing team for review. We appreciate
all feedback, and thank you for taking the time to let us know how you feel. Please
feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Kenya

The article was in extremely poor taste, but when I looked at the actual product it doesn't seem bad. Shouldn't be sold as a gimmick though, but having a set of Allergen free lapel pins or whatever could certainly be useful.

Here is the product, featured without the commentary.
