Odd article "When they eat peanuts or peanut butter they feel the effects a couple of days later."

plus "Dr. Gard recommends anyone whose had a bad reaction to a food carry an epinephrine pen that allows them to inject medicine into their system immediately. That way if the person has a bad allergic reaction they can inject themselves and then head to the emergency room. That injection could save a life."

Odd because of the description of the reaction and then the epi-pen part just seems so casual. And from the anaphylactic reaction I witnessed, it would be very difficult for her to have injected herself.

:thanksign walooet for the location. I very much agree w/everything you said. I too, thought that article was very odd. Definitly a need for a lot more education and awareness and that piece just seems to prove it.
