Gotta love this...

As longtime Calvert School nurse Bardelle Offutt emphasizes, "All the staff are trained to administer Epipens, which are posted around the school and included on field trips. I hope that people will continue to heed this serious issue. We wouldn?t fool around with that. It?s too serious."

Allergies seem to be everywhere these days. You can’t send peanut butter sandwiches to school, or put nuts in cookies for bake sales.
There are those words again. I wonder what the policy really is?

I have a friend who is deathly allergic to peanuts. But once or twice a year she hits herself with her epi-pen and digs into a peanut butter pie. (Not recommended)

On the weekend someone asked me:

do you ever try eating Thai food and just hit yourself with an epi?

Uh, no. As Sabrina put it so well in her Nutty Tale radio doc: "no, life isn't like that".
