Mentions the formation of the coalition, demand for Megann's Law in Quebec to protect students with anaphylaxis and/or asthma. Also: the fact that over 2,000 have written letters to the minister of education and the minister of health. :thanksign

English: http://www.newswire.ca/en/story/904235/ ... gann-s-law

French: http://www.newswire.ca/en/story/904233/ ... -de-megann

If you haven't submitted a letter to support this law, pls do. See: http://allergicliving.com/petitions/quebec-schools/

Also, there's a downloadable poster there to e-mail out, hand out, post on a blog ....

Merci bien!

Wow! Everyone here who wrote a letter or asked a family/friend to do so, was instrumental in making this happen.

Quote:
"The loss of any child is tragic," says Marie-Josée Bettez, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Megann's Law. "But Megann's death was preventable - and that only magnifies the tragedy and proves the need for this law."

So true!

I am so thankful that something positive will come of this heart wrenching, PREVENTABLE, tragic loss.

It feels good to know that just a few minutes of my time to submit a letter could help protect some children and also make some families lives easier by having some guidelines.

2,276 letters have been sent! :banana
Have you sent one? Can you ask anyone else to do so as well?
You don't have to be living in Quebec or even Canada for that matter.....

Please :thanksign
