Hi fellow supporters of M210!

It still remains critical that the pressure remain focused on Minister Bond, the Premier and the Liberal MLA's that the Anaphylactic Student Protection Act Legislation is passed in this sitting.

With that in mind, we believe that a fax and email blitz needs to take place Sunday, May 27th, and the morning of May 28th, BEFORE 8:30 AM.

Your name, address and a short message to the effect of PLEASE PASS BILL M210 and Protect Allergic Children Today is all that would be required for the fax or email.

Minister Bond's fax number is 1-250-387-3200 - email shirley.bond.mla@leg.bc.ca

Gordon Campbell's fax number is 1-250-387-0087 - email premier@gov.bc.ca

Please help and support the passing of BillM210 by preferably FAXING a short message to Minister Bond's office, Gordon Campbell's office and your MLA's office. But, if you don't have access to a fax machine, please email.

Please pass this on to supportive family, friends and colleagues to join our efforts in time for May 28th.

Thank you.

Thanks BC Mom. I have emailed your message to all my Ottawa support group members and all the support group leaders that I know in Canada.

Nancy -- do you want those of us who already e-mailed to email again on Sunday night? or just people that haven't yet sent one along?

Hi ethansmom,

We want everyone to preferably fax them again sometime between the evening of the 27th, and the morning of the 28th, before 8:30 a.m. so that they are bombarded with all this paper when they walk in on the morning of their second reading. If a fax machine is not accessible, an email is also alright but won't have the same effect.

Thanks for asking. I hope this clarifies it for everyone.

AAIA has an Angel pdf that we are using as the faxed message -- if you can't open pdf files, here's a not as high quality version:

(click to view on its own for printing)

I added in my son's name and school onto the sheet. We will be sending our faxes this afternoon!

Further to the "Angel Campaign" that Caroline mentions ... the following is from Yvonne Rousseau, the B.C. coordinator for the AAIA:

The second reading of the Anaphylactic Student Protection Act - Bill M210 will occur at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 28th in the BC Legislature.
You can watch this reading online between 11:00 - 12:00 noon - Pacific time. Go to http://www.leg.bc.ca/hansard/8-8.htm (click on live video feed).

We are now counting on a surprise fax and e-mail blitz over the weekend to hopefully be the final factor to convince the government on Monday morning just how important it is to pass this Bill now. We are asking everyone - parents, children, relatives, friends, colleagues and anyone you can think of to join our new Angel Campaign and send the attached angel in to Shirley Bond, Premier Campbell and all Liberal MLAs.

Send it anytime between now and 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 28th. Fax is preferable. Send an e-mail if you do not have a fax. Attached is also a list of all Liberal MLAs and their contact information. If you cannot sent it to all Liberals then be sure to send it especially to Shirley Bond and Gordon Campbell, and if possible to the other eight underlined MLAs. The first angel is to print off if are you are sending by fax. The second e-mail is if you are sending by e-mail.

If you are sending this by e-mail, please also write "Be An Angel to an Anaphylactic Child. Please Pass Bill M210" and your name and address on the e-mail itself in case the MLA does not open the attachment. If you have trouble opening the attachments, then just sent the message.

Please fan this out to everyone. We need all the support we can get to convince the Liberals to do the right thing on Monday morning.

Minister Bond's fax number is 1-250-387-3200 - e-mail shirley.bond.mla@leg.bc.ca
Gordon Campbell's fax number is 1-250-387-0087 - e-mail premier@gov.bc.ca

copy to
David Cubberley's fax number is 1-250-387-4680 - e-mail david.cubberley.mla@leg.bc.ca
