The Allergies in the news: BC lobby for Bill M-210 forum was officially removed on Jan. 21, 2008, as Bill M-210 failed to pass its second reading in spring 2007. The posts that were originally there have been moved to this forum. Any posts originally from the BC forum will have BC: at the start of the title.

On a positive note, in September 2007, the BC Ministry of Education issued the British Columbia Anaphylaxis and Child Safety Framework.

Quote:
“We made a commitment to ensure a framework was in place in September and we are delivering on that promise,” said Bond. “I am signing a ministerial order that has the force of law, to provide a rapid response to ensure schools are prepared to deal with an emergency situation involving a student with a life-threatening allergy.”

Some of the threads are locked. If you really want to comment on a particular thread, just let me know and I will unlock them. Actually, over time, I will probably unlock them all...
