This is from one of my favourite blogs, Skeptic North.

I was rather alarmed when I first started reading the comments he overheard from the Mom - and that the school only requires the Epipen be stored in a waist pack for 30 minutes over the lunch period ??!!! :frightened I know my son's worst anaphylactic reactions have all been delayed for 20-30 minutes, so it is during recess that he would probably be in the most danger. And storing the Epipen in the school's office? So much wrong with this situation in my eyes.

Anyway, it's kind of a cost / benefit analysis, and stay with it until the end ... comes to a nice conclusion on the author's part.
