I am looking for feedback in how Anaphylaxis is being managed in Alberta Schools, if you have a few moments, could you answer a few questions for me?

-What are you finding are the current gaps in dealing with anaphylaxis in your schools? Please list top three to five:

-Are you aware of the Anaphyalxis and Asthma Informational Resource kits (AAIR) that are in all Alberta Schools?

-Is training being done in your school? By Whom?

-What is the level of awareness of anaphylaxis in the schools? (are the children identified, staff aware, etc.)

-What does risk reduction look like in your school?

-What (or have) communication strategies have been implemented? Are these effective?

-Are there emergency repsonse plans in place? Have these been implemented? Are they effective?

-Where is Alberta falling short in anaphylaxis management in the schools? How can we close these gaps? Who can be involved?

Thanks!

Sheri
