The principal of an Elementary school in Texas sent a letter home to parents advising of allergy awareness. While they classes aren't truly allergen-free, they are supportive environments if the principal is any reflection of the school. :thumbsup

I wouldn't be calling them 'allergen-free' classrooms, nor do I consider eggs 'dairy', and putting aside those trivial matters (compared to the overall message), this is a wonderful letter!! I wish all schools could put these guidelines into place. I love how the letter is written in a very positive manner, reminding parents that this is a good thing for ALL children, as even children without allergies can benefit from more fruits and veggies. (I can only presume that none of their students have fruit/veggie allergies.) Way to go!!

I'm bookmarking this for future reference. :)
