M&M Meat Shops have just become my new best friends. :D I thought it was on this board that I heard about them? Did a search and can't find any threads.

So --- M&M Meat Shops have this book in all their stores. It lists every product with a list of about 8 or 10 allergens. So far, everything I've wanted to try has been free of my allergens. :D And, it really is good.

Last night for the first time in 15 years I had chicken balls just like I used to order from the Fast Food Chinese food place.

I did call their head office to verify that the bread crumbs used in their products would be sesame free - and I was told that if the bread crumbs were a risk of x-contam (not just an added ingredient, but a risk of x-contam) it would be labeled.

WooHoo! Breaded Fish. Breaded Chicken. I am eating good and cooking little. ;)

AnnaMarie -- I'm so happy for you! :D :D
I'm glad that you can enjoy these foods again. Our discussions about M&M Meat Shops can be found under the "Shopping" thread. http://www.allergicliving.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=663
I actually sent them an email commending them for their labelling and attention to detail where allergens were concerned and suggested that they market to the allergic population...it'll be interesting to see if we see any new adds for M&M taking this direction.
