I have had difficulty finding flax seed these past few months without a peanut/tree nut warning. I found Webber natural ground flax seed today at Costco. I will have to return it as it is another case of 'not an ingredient' but is from a sesame plant. I called and they did confirm that there are sesame products made in the same plant/lines. I suggested they add it as a warning. The reply was the same as so many companies give, it isn't an ingredient and the chance of trace is small so they aren't required to label for may contain.
I will return it and keep hunting. I try and add wheat germ and flax seed to our son's food as he still eats such a limited diet it gets some protein into him.
