I posted this under shopping but wanted to be sure everyone avoiding sesame saw it.

Just a warning. Several products I've seen lately at Costco (I'm sure everywhere but that is where I saw them) have no statement for sesame but when I've called the companies they are in fact made in a sesame facility. This is of course due to the fact that sesame isn't a top allergen in the US.

Does anyone know if they will be required to label differently once our labeling laws come in affect or being a US product are they exempt?

NONNI at Costco has crutons and cruton style bagel crisps (not sesame safe).
Several frozen style foods I've called and they are not sesame safe (I know one was spring rolls)
Their 2 pack of flax seed -found in the vitamin section (not sesame safe)
Garden Fresh tortilla chips (found near the deli counter packaged in the brown paper bags)

and....
Rudolph's Rye Bread : Canadian product - called and is made in a sesame bakery /no may contain

SO REMEMBER: If a product is from the US be SURE to call before eating.
