I received an email from anaphylaxis Canada today about this. I am very interested in going and so excited to see something like this in my city :)

Anyone in the area going?

I just got home from the Ask the Allergist session in Barrie! It was very informative and the allergist, Dr David Fisher, was amazing. Very easy to understand and answered everyone's questions.
If you have a chance to attend one of the other sessions do so. It was definitely worth the $30 to go.

On another note... it would have been nice to have the one in Barrie free for us like the ones in Toronto and Hamilton.

Hmm, looks to me as though the cost is the same. Did you hear something or could you have misinterpreted something?

I'm glad you enjoyed it though! Given your job, can you claim it as an work related expense?

The post above only lists codes for the Toronto and Hamilton sessions. The Barrie session was last night (Wed May 9) and the codes weren't posted until that day, too late since I signed up for it over a month ago. It cost $20 per person and $30 for 2. I never thought of trying to claim it as a business expense...I will look into it but either way it was worth the time and money to go. I met an excellent allergist that I will request next time I need to go and I will suggest Dr. Fisher to anyone in need.

I've seen Dr. Fischer present before. He's terrific.
Glad you enjoyed.
