A member of my local support group put out a message to the rest of us that she called SISU's 1800 number after her child suffered a reaction immediately after consuming this product. The Customer Service Rep. told her
Quote:
that "MILK IS USED IN THE PROCESSING, but is not added to the product and that's why it's not listed as an ingredient." Why the () is it not listed as a precautionary then? "Because it is used in the processing we cannot legitimately claim it may only contain traces" How the () are we supposed to know it contains milk then? "But it's fine for people with lactose intolerance. Health Canada still made us remove the milk-free claim."
A little more sleuthing online reveals the product is actually discontinued.
