Yikes! We have 4 containers of these flavours sitting in our freezer with 3 of them opened - my daughter has been eating out of all 3! We return them to the store where we purchased them I assume!

I hope this is a one time problem. My daughter was so disappointed to find out that "her" ice cream was not okay for her!

I returned the ice cream last night to Metro. I went in with my 5 containers - 4 had been opened and we had been eating out of them. I went in assuming that I might encounter some ignorance from the cashier at the customer service dept. I prepared myself for it and had the email with all of the recall information in hand. Sure enough, the cashier was surprised that they even sold these items and that she wasn't aware of the recall. Then she commented on the fact that we had been eating out of the containers and that they must be okay. I had my answers ready for her and remained calm. She called over the grocery manager and he was aware of the recall and told the cashier to give me a full refund. I hope that Natura can get their act together to resolve this problem. We love the ice cream. It is the only milk and peanut free one that we can find locally.

Hope so too, Kate. Good you got the refund, but a girl needs her safe ice cream.

WOW! Just noticed this today, kind of odd really. We were so excited to find it, and I gave it to my daughter for the first time like 4-5 days ago.. I find it odd and may be unrelated, but she didn't seem to like it, she spat it out and started rubbing her tongue (she does this when she doesn't like the taste, but in retrospect it may have been more than just that) and she had diareah (sp) for 3 days after it, and I just figured it was a big she picked up, I guess it could have been s bug anyways, but I will most certainly call the woman. I don't remember where I bought it, it's open and I don't have a receipt anymore, so I have no idea what they will do?
