IGA/Sobey's is carrying a "new" kid friendly line of products sponsored by Disney. They are full of all kinds of special labelling about how good they are for you, low in fat, no added this, no artificial that - however - I was just curious (as my 15yo would NOT eat a burger in the shape of Mickey Mouse!) but almost without exception every package had "May contain . . . .everything under the sun! Eggs, milk, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, etc. Literally - 5 or 6 of the top 10 allergens on most packages. I think the only one that looked good for top 10 was some fruit chewy thing.

You'd think that if they are marketing to kids that they'd produce products that wouldn't be banned in most schools!

Personally I don't agree with banning the "may contains" but I know many that do So much for market research!

On the bright side, I LOVE the way Compliments products are labelled. Very Clear, Very easy to Read. Don't need to stumble to find the small print!

I saw that exact product today, and thought the same thing. I like that everything is clear cut so you don't have to guess if something that could pose a threat is in it!

I'm not surprised, unfortunatley
I find the same thing with Pres. Choice products that are for kids too. Mini Chefs? Contain or may contain many of the top 10
