My new favourite restaurant is called Choppers. The chef has a peanut allergy, so there are no peanuts allowed...Yay....and a lot of the food is organic...Yay...and they make the best full breakfast I have ever had in a restaurant for $3.50 (with organic eggs and hashbrowns, can you believe that!)....Yay, yay, yay!

It is on the corner of Rupert Street and 1st Avenue. They are only open for breakfast and lunch at the moment, but they will extend their hours when they get a liquor license.

This location has had many restaurants in the past 16 years I've lived in this neighborhood, so if you are in Vancouver and have a peanut allergy, help them become successful by checking them out - they really deserve to make a go of it.

* please check and make sure it is still safe before you eat there, in case of staff changes, etc.
