Hi, I found this fact very interesting & thought I would pass it along. I have to have a CT scan for something & inquired about the ingredients in the barium shake (or yuck shake) & no one in the imaging office knew so I did some digging. I actually got quite the run around & several different phone #'s & customer service personnel later I found out that the 'vanilla' flavored one actually contained gluten but it is NOT marked on the label. The company itself seemed very unsure of their ingredients until we reached someone who knew. Evidently the mixed berry & banana do not contain gluten but the vanilla does (which is the one I was about to drink, yikes!). Wanted to get the word out & this seemed like a good place to do it. :)

This is a gentle reminder to all of us that we need to ask what the ingredients are to anything that we put onto or into our bodies.
