Hello,
just curious about the danger of eating sea salt when you have fish/seafood allergies?
Thanks!

Hi Melanie....I have been wondering the same thing. Just like a couple years back everything had to have DHA omega 3 from fish, now everything seems to need "sea salt". After googling it many times I did come up with "one" article that stated there is microscopic shellfish within the salt. How accurate this info is (from the net) I don't know. Especially as only one article had this answer. Just to be on the safeside I have been avoiding it until I get more answers. I tried asking...is it dangerous for seafood allergic to eat sea salt?.....are there shellfish and crusatacean bits in sea salt?....can people be allergic to sea salt? etc. Does anyone know whom to contact with these questions other than randomly asking the net?
