This summer we seem to be eating at many different people's homes, both at home and on vacation. Does anyone have an Allergy 101 that they have to give to people? It feels like that is going overboard yet I'm honestly getting tired of explaining it again. and again...

I created a 1 pager for babysitters, teachers, summer camp staff, etc, but it's not so much for people that would actually be preparing food for my kids. If you want it, though, PM me with your email.

I've often thought of making a booklet on my kid, allergies and quirks. Kind of like an operating manual.

The information that I provided was very helpful to the homes we visited - and two quickly knew that they didn't get it enough to host us for a meal.

Kudos to my friend who provided appetizers, dinner and dessert that were ALL safe for my teenager! None of the "this is her food" or "don't touch that". It was very special to have her take the extra time to make sure my daughter was included for the entire meal.

Most dinners had appies and desserts that were unsafe although I give credit to my 81 year old dad for asking for brownies that did not have nuts (it was in-store bakery so still off-limits unfortunately).
