Hi,
Although there's so many benefits about eating Yogurt my body doesn't seem to agree!
I get terrible, terrible tummy cramps and strangely enough get a puffy face!
Is this really possible with yogurt and why?

Milk alone seems o.k., but not yogurt. Is it the bacteria because I understand it's all good!

Thanks,
Chrysalisa

My mother in law is the same way! She can tolerate small amounts of milk and ice cream, but yogurt gives her hives and stomach pain. I think it is due to the active cultures, but she has never been allergy tested to confirm this. She has major mold allergy, and I wonder if the cultures are related? Strictly conjecture. She also has problems with some of the cheeses that are mold harboring. Good luck narrowing it down.

Allergymama3- You might be on to something there! Anyway, for sure if the person can have milk but not yoghurt or cheese, there is something in those products which isn't in milk so...Chrysalisa, don't eat anymore yoghurt until you get this checked out.

Tummy cramps and swelling in the face means 2 systems are body being affected.
