Has anyone tried using an ice cream maker with rice milk or almond milk? Would they be thick enough? Thanks in advance!

There's a very delicious recipe in Veganomicon that uses soy and/or coconut milk to make ice cream. (Soy creamer and/or coconut cream work even better.) We have made it many times and everyone loves it. It turns out really well in our ice cream maker. I don't know if I can post the recipe here, so PM me if you want it. :)

We make a dairy-free, soy based ice cream. I don't see why it wouldn't work with rice or almond milk.
You can always try a sorbet if the rice or almond mixture doesn't work out.
