Donna, sorry to hear that the challenge was so dangerous, happy to hear your son made it out of there. It seems so harmless when we think about a challenge that we don't always realize how it can end up... all of that for a food that we don't really care about anymore or ever had in our life... Thanks for sharing this story with us, it's something we all have to keep in mind when dealing with allergies.

Donna, I'm sorry to hear about your family's traumatic experience. To state the obvious, it seems that that allergist made up his/her mind before the challenge that your son wasn't allergic and so (s)he wasn't open to even considering that he might be reacting :shock:
