The allergist told me my blood work was fine but to stay away from msg. If my blood work is fine why do I react to dairy still. He even tested me for it.

What sort of reaction do you have to milk? I would go by your symptoms. If you don't feel comfortable eating dairy, don't. You can live a long, healthy life without it.

My allergist has always told me that the "gold standard" allergy test is eating the food:
- If you can eat it with no allergic symptoms, you're not allergic to it.
- If you eat it and have allergic symptoms, well, obviously you're having problems with it.

So to me, if you have those symptoms when you consume dairy, your "gold standard test" is showing you that you are having problems with dairy. (As long as you are sure that it's the dairy and not something else in the dairy.)

I agree that your symptoms are the gold standard test. But you might want to loo into the possiblity that it could be something else. Did they do a direct milk challenge? That is giving you pure cows milk in the challenge? Some people react to cheese but not milk because of intense mold allergies.
