How old were you when you were diagnosed with your peanut allergy?

Your poll didn't seem to work. :( But I'll answer your question.

I was in my late twenties when I started having reactions. I did figure out the causes were peanuts and sesame seeds - but I didn't actually officially get diagnosed until about one or two years ago.

I was 24, I think. Or maybe I was 23. I can't remember if the year was 1999 or 1998.

3 years old but I had it since birth but it took a few times before my parents and doctors were able to single out it was peanuts.

My parents carefully avoided giving me peanuts or nuts because it became apparent when I was an infant that I had lots of food allergies. I was diagnosed with a peanut allergy the first time I was taken to an allergist, as a child, but I don't remember when that was exactly.

I was 2 or 3yrs old. (30ish years ago)

My daughter was 12 mos, and had no previous exposure (since I'm allergic).

My son was 8 months old when he had a brutal facial/head swelling after rubbign his eye with his hand that had touched the top of the peanut butter jar lid on the breakfast table. He was clinically tested and confirmed at 15 months old, in Hong Kong.

I was found out at 17 when I bought peanut butter in the Health food store.
That is more than 20 years ago.

My daughter was 3 when she ate a nut and immediately went into severe anaphylaxis. Since then she has tested positive to many other food allergies. In hindsight we should have been more suspicious of food allergies as she had terrible eczema as a baby.
