Ladies and Gents,

Please give me some good news on candy.. CHOCOLATE and hard candy just plain any kind of sweets.. I can do without if need be but am really not wanting to go there if at all possible thanks......

I'm not up on American companies, but you can order some safe candy from www.canadiansweets.com

They have a page with allergy information, and list some safe candy (though some not on that page I consider safe).

If you go to http://www.peanutaware.com/safe_foods.html you will see a list. The alphabetical list appears to be Canadian (based on the manufacturers names), but if you go to the bottom (below the letter Z) you will see a list of US Candy Manufacturers with some apparently safe candies listed.

I would use this list as a starting point and still ensure that you always read the label and/or contact the manufacturer. Ingredients can change at any time.

Thanks Karen. :) Found some (US) candy this weekend at a dollar store. Wasn't sure if it was safe or not. It is. :D
