I love this recipe. It is egg/nut free, and by substituting non dairy margarine for the butter can be dairy free.
I often make it by substituting cranberry tea, and dried cranberries (craisins) instead of the raisins (DH and one of the DS's don't like raisins). I also omit the black pepper, when making this version, and reduce the sugar to 2/3c. (we just like to have something a little less sweet for snacktimes).

That sounds very interesting! I love Earl Grey tea, and so does my youngest.

The salad looks yummy too...
