A colleague just told me about Pandora Internet Radio at www.pandora.com - a music site that provides music to you based on choices you make.

They say this:

Quote:
Can you help me discover more music that I'll like?

Those questions often evolved into great conversations. Each friend told us their favorite artists and songs, explored the music we suggested, gave us feedback, and we in turn made new suggestions. Everybody started joking that we were now their personal DJs.

We created Pandora so that we can have that same kind of conversation with you.

I love Enya, so I just typed her name in and since then I've been listening to nice mellow "Enya-like" music! It makes my moderating job all that more pleasant! ;)

There is no charge, but you do have to become a member to listen past 10 minutes or so.

I love the Internet...

K.

I too am going to have to try this out!

I sometimes listen to this station: http://www.folkalley.com. (among other genres, I'm into folk music/bluegrass/country).

Thanks for sharing Karen,

Totally cool. I'm really enjoying it. You can also create more than one folder and then it will play songs from them all.
