Has anyone ever had breathing problems related to RISOGRAPH copiers which use SOY based toner. I began a new position in another school last summer & in the fall when classes resumed I began having daily asthma attacks at work about an hour after arriving, using my inhalers & just recently noticed the toner for the RISO printer is soy (I have a soy allergy, as well as many food allergies, very sensitive airways - perfumes, etc.) I am attempting to go through Health & Safety to relocate my desk but there is resistance & it's getting very complicated. I have had the air quality tested in the area where I work & it was found to be poor quality. Help -- what can I do short of leaving my position of 13 years?! :(
