I think you're wise to continue to avoid all nuts. Can you imagine if she ended up liking them? When would you be able to give them to her?

Yeah...no kidding. My oldest likes a few foods my youngest can't have because she ate them before my youngest was known to be allergic (smarties, icecream, pizza, chicken etc.). Luckily she is okay with not having them now. We have offered to let her have a few milky items out of the house...and clean up good...and with a disposable toothbrush...but she said "but then I couldn't kiss my sister...no thanks", so she seems to be fine with not eating those things for now.

Husband- asthma, eggs, treenuts, fish, shellfish environmental
Self - penicillan, eurithromiacin, mild laytex allergy.
