As far as I'm aware, there is nothing similar to Sabrina's Law here in Quebec, though there is increased awareness of allergies in the food industry, thanks to the new CAC allergen program, and the AQAA.

This is a place to discuss ways of instituting laws to protect allergic students in Quebec.

Anyone know if anything is being done in Quebec today?

The Sabrina's Law documentary really touched me, and I've sent an email to AQAA, and another parent from a Quebec Board I'm registered too (where I put a link up to Global Current's site) sent a message to the education Ministy asking if anything was being done. Neither of us has replies yet, but I'm hoping it's a first baby step in the right direction!

Please see the current Allergic Living campaign to protect allergic students, and write your letter to make your voice heard! http://allergicliving.com/index.php/201 ... in-quebec/

To avoid confusion or dilution of effort, if you'd like to comment on matters related to allergy advocacy for students in Quebec, please see viewtopic.php?f=36&t=7273 Thanks!
