Hi!

I'm a journalism student at Algonquin College and am writing a feature on food labels and allergies. I am looking to talk to people in Ontario who have serious allergies or people with family members who have severe allergies.

I am looking for anecdotes, stories or frustrations that people have with grocery shopping (poor labels, nut bins next to the produce, etc.) and label reading (vague labels, etc.) I am looking for stories involving things many non-allergic people would not think about, such as wearing strong scents, bringing peanut butter to school, etc.

I have asked the moderators for permission to post this already, so if anyone has any stories they'd like to share, I would love to set up a phone or email interview with you.

Please e-mail me at rose0126@algonquincollege.com, or PM me here :)
Thank you,
Heather
