If you are looking for something inspirational, you must see this:

It's an amazing talk given by a Carnegie Mellon University professor named Randy Pausch who does not have much time left to live. Incredibly inspirational.

I think that the talk was given in September. Knowing that, I was a bit afraid that Randy was no longer with us. But he has a blog with updates, and the most recent one was March 8, 2008:

What a true hero.

I think he is amazing. It puts things in perspective. Also, reminds us to not squash our kids' dreams and remember to have fun.

Sadly, Randy Pausch died Friday July 25th, 2008.

His wiilingness to embrass all aspects of his life including his death is an inspiration. I highly recoend that you view his lecture if you haven't already seen it.

Quote:
PITTSBURGH - Randy Pausch, a Carnegie Mellon University computer scientist whose "last lecture" about facing terminal cancer became an Internet sensation and a best-selling book, has died. He was 47.

Pausch died early Friday at his home in Virginia, university spokeswoman Anne Watzman said. Pausch and his family moved there last fall to be closer to his wife's relatives.

Pausch was diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer in September 2006. His popular last lecture at Carnegie Mellon in September 2007 garnered international attention and was viewed by millions on the Internet.
