I haven't been on the board in ages until tonight - I didn't even know you were expecting!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS many, many times over

Now you just need to find a way to share a photo (I can NOT resist newborns!!!)
Hope you are totally recovered, not too sleep deprived and that little man sleeps well for you...

Things have actually been going REALLY well. Labour consisted of one night of annoying contractions that were not really hard...but were close together...but kept stopping and starting. I was in the hospital because I had my 2nd DD in under an hour. The following morning my doctor wanted me to stay in the hospital even though I wasn't progressing. We were waiting for the obstetrician to come give a second opinion about what to do with me when BAM...one hard contraction. He was born in 15 minutes!!! Yikes...I would've had that baby in the car if I would've gone home! The nurse said I had the easiest labour and delivery she's ever seen :D :D :D ! I came home the next day.

At home now...baby is REALLY good. Our nights consist of one or two feedings and right back to bed. Most mornings I wake up with the sun around 7:30 fully rested and ready to get up even though the baby is still asleep. His skin has been good too. Both the girls scratched their faces and had to wear scratch mittens all the time. He doesn't do that...so I'm hoping he just isn't itchy like they were.

I'm glad things are going so well. You deserve a little bit of "easy".

Hi everyone! I haven't been on the site much lately. I've been a bit busy! Everything has been going great...baby sleeping 8 hours at night...and shows NO signs of allergies yet. His skin has been clear from day one. He did not ever need to wear scratch mittens because he just DOES NOT scratch himself. My girls (particularily my 5 year old) scratched her face constantly.

My girls really love him. I think they're old enough that he's not really their competition...he's more like a pet. Really, he's the only "pet" they can have that no one is allergic to  .

We've been sooo busy since he was born. We went on our first camping trip last weekend and we're going again next week.

That is a good sign that he doesn't have eczema at this point! It is so heartbreaking to see an infant suffering from eczema...it is just sooo itchy.

I'm sure you're *extremely* busy now. Hope you have a great time camping :)
