My name is Liz Hoath and I work for CBC Radio in Vancouver. I'm working on a series that will run in September about allergies and schools. I'm looking for stories to tell during the week, so thought I should put out the call here!

If you live in the Metro Vancouver area, I'd like to hear your stories of dealing with the school system. What's the situation like in your school? Did you have to fight for changes? Has your child suffered from bullying because of their allergies? Have you been discriminated against? I'm also wondering if anyone thinks the schools are going too far? Is it up to the children and parents to manage the allergy instead of up to the school system? Or if there are any other issues I haven't addressed here, but you think are important, please let me know.

Thanks in advance, you can send me a private message with contact information if you're interested in telling your story and I'll get back to you soon.

Thanks,

Liz Hoath
