I am having a problem with pads and tampons and I suspect my Corn allergy is the cause.

I can smell some kind of powder on my pads. I wonder if they are Corn dusted or with a Baking Powder (includes Corn) product to keep it smelling "fresh" longer.

Thankfully, I don't react instantly to skin contact with Corn, but after several days of contact (period) I start to have a real problem.

Does anyone know any pad products with no Corn on them?

Unfortunately, I am unable to just use rags and re-wash them. My husband does all the laundry and he just refuses to "go there". I am not physically capable of doing my own laundry due to another disability.

I also have a rough time finding toilet paper not made with Corn in it.

Here is a site that lists corn-free products including the ones you are looking for:

I went to the Diva cup about 4-5 months ago...

It has been a big change for me, and it takes some getting use to but it is worth it to not feel like I am coming down with TSS from the products.

It is on the list Eldi posted a link to...

There are a lot of people who have minor issues getting it in or comfortable but it is worth it.

This link is for "keepers" but since they are essentially the same outside of materials http://community.livejournal.com/menstr ... 53392.html That can help with methods.

Even the "safe" pad (Always) eventually caused me Corn problems.

Last Month I switched to the Diva Cup. I still had to wear a pad during my heaviest flow day and night, but some small swelling is better than the nightmare I had been dealing with while wearing the pads all period long (my vagina swelled so much it went inside out).
