Talking Allergies

Hi all, chicken nuggets have been the staple of my son's diet since he could eat solids - but I am finding that one by one, all the brands we are used to eating are starting to contain milk ingredients. FRUSTRATING!!! Right now, the only ones I can find are M&M and the Janes Disney-shaped ones, which are not at all appetizing, and grossly overpriced. I have also tried making my own, but the picky eater doesn't like PURE chicken breast in his nuggets.

Anyone else know of any different milk-free brands and where I could get them? I should just suck it up and make the special trip to M&M I guess.

Ians are free of milk, egg and nuts but they are expensive. I have found them at our local Independent.

This might help you out. It was recently posted by a member of our local support group:

I just found (at Costco) these chicken dino buddies (basically all white
meat chicken nuggets in the shape of dinos) with only gluten, soy, wheat
disclosure.

I am now on their website & they specify no peanut, nut, sesame, egg, milk

Thanks Julie! There is a Costco going up near us so I will have to check this product out. From what I have read on the forum they have a number of products that we might be able to buy.

Pinty's chicken nuggets are egg and dairy free.
I just got a call yesterday (not sure what the roaming charges will be on that one!) from the representative who said they are not produced on any lines that use egg or dairy.
I was checking for peanuts, tree nuts and legumes too.

Daughter: asthma, allergies to egg, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, most legumes (not soy) & penicillin. Developing hayfever type allergies.
Husband: no allergies
Me: allergies to some tree that flowers in May
Cat: allergic to beef, pork and lamb

My son eats the Ian's chicken nuggets. I can usually find them at Walmart, Loblaws and RCSS. As katec said they are pricey.

I will have to check out the ones at Costco. That would be easier.

Tyson Chicken Nuggets have no milk or eggs. They contain soy. You can buy them in most major supermarkets.
