Does any know if the Allen's christmas candy canes are safe for people with peanut and tree nut allergies? My husband has called and left a message but we were hoping to get an answer today, as my daughter has patiently waited all weekend in the hopes o eating her candy cane tonght that she received in ballet class.

My husband heard back from Allen's. They will be changing their packaging and the candy canes will now state that they are manufactured in a facility which also processes nuts and peanuts. This new statement will be appearing on their chocolate products which previously had no statements.

WHAT???? why would they have NOT labeled these to begin with??? Here I have thought they were safe since there was NO warning, and they are a Canadian product. BOOOOOOO!!! for Allen's.
Thank you for the heads up. So much for having trust in local companies.
