While I've eaten there many times before, they've recently updated their menu, and in the process, done up a nutrition and allergy guide - kuddos to them. When we ordered, I had ordered a chicken and asked to sub rice for the spuds (due to my allergy to potatoes). Shortly after taking our order, the manager came out, to confirm my allergy degree, what my allergy was to (and any other allergies I had), and handed me the nutrition and allergy guide. I had to (unfortunately) laugh at the allergy guide because it was no help for me particularily. But, I can certainly see how it can be helpful for those with the top 10 allergies. It had listed all of their menue items, and the top 10 allergy items including: Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Sesame, Milk, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Soy, Wheat & Gluten, and Sulphites.

The manager stopped by 3 times during our meal to make sure every thing was satisfactory! All in all - very nice!

Looking at their allergy info - not a great place for those with milk, soy, and wheat & gluten allergies, as many of their menue items contain these, but not so bad on the others.

Montana's has a lot of options for those with peanut and tree nut allergies. My daughter even ate the cornbread! Their garlic mashed potatoes are fabulous and she does not miss the fries at all.

The last time I was in Montana's (pre boy/allergy days) you could throw peanut shells on the floor in the bar 1/2 of the restaurant!! Even if they have stopped this practice how did they de- contaminate the restaurant?

Wow, never heard of that so will check next time I'm there. I was only referring to the food on the menu...
