Hi all - I just found this site and forum and WOW!!! We (family of 5) have a large # of allergies/OAS/food sensitivities and food intolerances including:
nuts, penuts, soy, legumes, sesame, sunflower, eggs, fish, dairy, citrus, glutten, nightshades, corn, cantelope, parsley, cilantro and curry.

To add to this list we all have asthma to varying degrees as well as environmental allergies.

The kids are 5, 3 and 5.5mo. Dh has had alllergies since infancy and me since highschool'ish age.

I am excitted to meet y'all and continue using the site.

True, given what others have to deal with, it's nice to consider that being sick can be avoided by avoiding our allergens and using the prescribed medcication if an accidental exposure happens.

The other side of this coin though is the sense of inflated responsibility that the our lives and that of our loved ones hinge on our every decision/action.

so true - the responsibility (aka pressure) can sometimes be overwhelming, but after 6 years I can say I am beginning to get a clue!
