We've met with the principal so far every year (mainly because of the turn over).
We feel well supported by the curent principal and it isn't usually possible to meet with the teacher prior to the first day of school (indeed, they don't normally tell parents which teacher the students have until then).

Do I meet with the principal to review what we've already discussed? I imagine she's pretty busy.

I should mention that both the head custodian and the night custodian have moved on...

What do you think? What do you do?

Daughter: asthma, allergies to egg, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, most legumes (not soy) & penicillin. Developing hayfever type allergies.
Husband: no allergies
Me: allergies to some tree that flowers in May
Cat: allergic to beef, pork and lamb

I meet with the teacher directly the first week of school.

My allergic child is one of many in the school. He has had the same principal since Kindergarten. I do take in a poster board with my son's picture on it, as well as the all his known allergies, and a list of symptoms of allergic reaction.
I also meet with his new teacher as soon as I can to go over all the allergies with him/her.
