Guardian Angel Foods will be doing tasting sessions of their desserts, including the passion chocolate cake that they're promoting for Father's Day, on June 20th and 21st.
Tasting sessions will be at select A&P, Loeb and Metro stores - mostly in GTA and Ottawa areas but also some other locations. Visit http://www.guardianangelfoods.com/eng/tastings.html for more details.

Thanks for the notice! I've posted this with our local support group so anyone that hasn't yet tried their products can discover how DELICIOUS they are.

I saw these at Highland Farms in Vaughan (near Canada's Wonderland)
We have to go to a birthday party this weekend so I think I'll pick up one of the cakes for us. Thanks!

I went to a tasting at a Metro store (formerly Loeb). Our daughter tasted the Oatmeal and Raisin cookie and proclaimed it was the best cookie she ever tasted! She tried the chocolate and raspberry muffin but handed it to me after one nibble. She's not big on chocolate and the demonstrator did say it was heavy on the chocolate.

The vanilla cake and chocolate cakes were $14.99 which was $3.00 off and the demonstrator had 50 cent off coupons so we got a vanilla cake to keep in the freezer (just in case) and a box of cookies for lunches.

It was worth it just to see her so happy at being able to try something at a store sample display!

Our school has a hot lunch program called the Lunch Lady. I just sent off an e-mail suggesting they get the Guardian Angel desserts for their program. they are peanut free so they might be interested. I heard back and they are definately going to look into it.

Now I wonder if I can just order dessert! 8)

Stocking up on some more of the individually wrapped oaqtmeal cookies. It's too hot to bake. :)

See from the new e-letter I just got from Guardian Angel that they're promoting their yummy muffins as "Straight from the freezer to your lunchbox".

Seems an excellent idea for back to school. Very appealing flavours. See: http://www.guardianangelfoods.com/eng/muffins.html

And more good news from that e-letter for GA fans in Quebec and Eastern Ont.:

- At the Granby Zoo restaurant, they've started selling GA muffins, cookies and safe chocolate "zoo" animals.
- St-Hubert restaurants now carry GA's "Apple Temptation".

More here: http://www.guardianangelfoods.com/index.html

These products are: peanut free, egg free, nut free and dairy free.
